WE had a great result for Christian Aid Week this year, with a total of £5,725 collected between May 14 and 20. Many thanks to all those who donated by the traditional envelopes, or went online, to help us raise this fantastic amount.

None of this would be possible without our wonderful team of volunteers, who deliver and collect the envelopes, count and bank the money, do all of the admin and provide tea, coffee and cake for the counters – thank you!

A big thank you too to Boots Pharmacy, Curly Coffee and the Co-op for hosting the pavement posters and collecting boxes.

Christian Aid gives help to those of all faiths and none – during emergencies and disasters, by supporting projects to help communities become self-sufficient and by lobbying governments and corporations across the world to tackle the roots of poverty.
