Congratulations to our 2024 Carnival Logo Winner!

Congratulations to Niamh Kerr, (age 12), our Carnival Logo competition winner, who is in S1 at Gryffe.

The judges loved the creativity of her entry, with the cycle helmet and beret adding to the Olympic ring and sports theme.

Congratulations also go to our runner up, Lucy Watt (age 10), from Houston Primary. Her entry was so colourful and eye catching, just missing top spot by a whisker.

Both will be presented with a gift voucher at the official opening of Houston & Killellan Kirk Carnival on May 11!

This is the second year we’ve run our logo competition and we had over 60 entries from P5 – S2 pupils from Houston Primary, Gryffe High, St Columba’s and St Fillan’s, as well as Sunday Club and Bible Class.

Thank you very much to the schools for supporting us, and to Janice Watt for coordinating all the entries.

The standard was excellent and picking a winner was not easy!

All of the shortlisted entries are included in this year’s Carnival Programme, so make sure you buy a copy (or three!).

Thank you very much to everyone who took part.
