On Remembrance Sunday the service starts early, to allow for the two minute silence at 11am.

1st Houston Boys’ Brigade Pipe Band parade from South Street, through the village, followed by representatives of various organisations including HKK Girls, Scouts, Guides and Brownies.

There will be a Retiral Offering in aid of SSAFA and Erskine Hospital.

The service is followed by a further act of Remembrance and a short service at the War Memorial at 12noon, where the organisations and others lay their wreaths.
