A big shout out to Bee Happy Litter Crew who recently raised an amazing total of £208 by recycling two trailer loads of empty drink bottles and cans they have collected from around our village.

They fed the cans and bottles into the deposit return machines at Sainsburys and exchanged the vouchers for much-needed food, cleaning products and toiletries for our Foodbank Collection Point.

All the items have now been picked up by Renfrewshire Foodbank, who were very grateful. They know that families in particular can find the summer holidays challenging and this donation – along with all the other items regularly handed in by individuals in our community – will be much appreciated by those they support.
