Our Overseas Mission partners in Mwandi, Keith and Ida Waddell, have already put the £3,500 donation we gave them when they visited us in June to very good use.

The money has been used to help install copper piping in the Mission Hospital, which means that the suction system is fully operational at last, a big step forward in care as there was no system in place beforehand.

The pictures here show the suction machine, the operating theatre and the intensive care unit that should soon be ready for use too.

The rest of the money has been used to cover additional items and boost the vital treatment, screening and operations patients receive.
